SMS Newsletter is a bi-annual publication of School of Management Sciences, Varanasi. The objective of the Newsletter is to benefit the students,staff corporate persons & all the readers through publishing the news related to programs like workshops, seminars, faculty development programmes, industrial visits, orientation programmes and similar events took place at institute. Newsletters contain all the above mentioned information in form of various sections. These sections start with the message of Director of the institute with his blessings and information about the modifications/ changes at the institute. In the next section it publishes the information about the achievements of institution in recent past. Next Section in the row deals with the news regarding events like orientation programmes and fun filled moments including industrial and excursion tours, and benefits of the same in the hands of students. Another section consists of reports on cultural events, competitions, contests, corporate meets & alumni meet, get- together & other major events of interest held by the Institute to integrate the corporate world with the academic community. With a view to help the students get familiar with faculty members & their areas of specialization & to assist the students for their summer assignments & projects, the Newsletter provides a brief profile about the new members of SMS Family. The Faculty contribution to the educational development in terms of publications, MDPs, FDPs attended is also reported.

The report of the literary as well as cultural activities organized by the students is also an important component of the Newsletter.
